Preparing for Ownership
Whether or not the next generation works in the family firm, the members of the family must learn how to be the future owners of the family assets. This process includes understanding the family’s values and its heritage, the acquisition of financial management tools, familiarization with the family’s assets, development of one’s own personal career, the ability to make shared decisions, and a basic knowledge of legal matters and tools.
This preparation does not simply happen. Dorot has proven experience in the development and management of unique programs for training the successor generation for ownership on the basis of the family’s specific needs – in groups, individually and through dialogue with the older generation.
